RESEARCH IN PROGRESS

Current research examines intelligence in the domestic setting—federal, state, local, and tribal systems—including the evolution of the Department of Homeland Security, the interagency border intelligence enterprise, and the theory and practice of counterintelligence. This work also explores the development of a lessons-learned framework to address challenges unique to intelligence operations within the United States.
